Located on The Green in the heart of the beautiful village of Saltwood, the Castle Hotel offers a unique experience on the south coast of Kent.  Limited to only five letting rooms you can enjoy the intimacy and privacy the Castle Hotel has to offer. With free Sky TV in every room, free Wi-Fi and free on-street parking, this family-run hotel offers a traditional pub and restaurant, just 3 minutes from Hythe centre and opposite one of Kent's newest Michelin starred restaurants.

Each room offers an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, tea and coffee making facilities and a 32-inch TV which shows a full Sky Movie, Sport and Entertainment package.

We offer a freshly cooked English breakfast using only quality ingredients at additional cost (subject to availability).  We also offer a fully stocked bar and a large garden for your enjoyment.  You can find our current menus on our Facebook page. 

Just 10 minutes' drive from the Channel Tunnel Terminal, Castle Hotel also offers easy access to Dover Ferry Port. Sene Valley Golf Club is a 5-minute drive away, and Folkestone can be reached in just 10 minutes.  We are located close to Hayne House, Lympne Castle, Westernhanger Castle, Port Lympne Reserve and Etchinghill Golf Course.

Since July 19th 2021 it became no longer mandatory to wear face masks inside.  We leave the decision on wearing face masks entirely with our staff and guests.
